30 weeks

Have I mentioned how much I enjoy being pregnant? I'm really, really going to miss feeling Tatum's kicks, flips, tickles, hiccups and everything else she's doin' in there. I met two of my friends babies last week and oh how it made me want to meet our lil gal! Asa and Tucker are sooo cute and I can't wait to add Tatum in the mix! I wasn't able to see Elizabeth in the hospital when Asa came but I did see Amy & it made me so excited and anxious that I will be in a hospital bed very soon, just 10 weeks and counting! We have our 3rd childbirth class tonight which I'm not looking forward to because it's 3 hours but thank goodness we only have one more left after tonight.

Fun Fact: Billy proposed almost 2 years ago and now 2 years later I am almost 8 months pregnant, CRAZY!

Third Trimester

Am I really in my third trimester?! This pregnancy has flown by! I'm already getting sad that I only have 2 more months with her in my belly...pathetic, I know, but I absolutely LOVE being pregnant! I totally understand why Michelle Dugger (love her) has 19 kids. I had my last 4 week doctor appt. and now we are on to every 2 weeks. We also start our birthing class tomorrow night which I'm not really looking forward to but oh well. I figured since I would like to have a natural birth, I should probably be prepared with the whole process.

My mom finished Tatum's bedding and I love it!!! I'll post pictures as soon as we paint the crib and get a mattress. Traveling 7 months pregnant for holidays is not that fun because stinker loves to dance, jump, and sit on my bladder :). I feel like Thanksgiving weekend lasted a week and Christmas will probably be more exhausting but that's okay! We left Wednesday night after work for Conway, had a big Thanksgiving with Billy's family (35 people in all) and drove 3 hours to Missouri to be with my family Friday & Saturday.

December is going to fly by! We're here this weekend so we'll probably be painting her crib and changing table all day Saturday. Next weekend, we go back to Conway for my father-in-law's family Christmas. Everyone is staying at my in-laws so there will probably be around 15 people in their house, crazy! We will spend our weekend ice skating (not me), looking at christmas lights, and a christmas service at church. We'll be here the 3rd weekend in dec. and off to Conway again the 23rd, Christmas Eve with Billy's family (all 35), and Christmas morning. Then we will drive 3 hrs to Missouri to spend Christmas night and the day after with them. Busy, busy, busy!

Welcome 3rd Trimester!

Belly Pictures

Tatum is growing, growing, growing. She's almost 2 lbs and loves to kick, flip and sit on mama's bladder :). I just realized last night that I can feel her when she isn't moving if I push on my stomach, so weird. She was kicking so much last weekend that I was getting a little freaked out...her movements are so strong and human like! Maybe it just hit me that there's actually a human being growing inside me. I love watching her flip & flop all day! Here are belly pics from the last few weeks. Enjoy!

Blessed

I flipped the day I found out Billy & I were going to have a baby. We had plans to move to Dallas in 2 weeks, quit our jobs, and we're moving out of our apt in a week. I'm writing this post because God has definitely taught me throughout these 22 weeks of pregnancy just how faithful he really is. Billy was able to get his job back which was a huge blessing, but I was still out of work. Well, 1 and 2 weeks of being jobless turned into 4 months and is still going strong ha. Every job I have found hasn't worked out because of the limitations during pregnancy, plans fell through, or no one has contacted me about jobs I have applied for. All that to say, I'm so thankful to be helping out at Northstar for the next few weeks.

God has been there with us every step of the way. Billy found us a place to live the week after we found out we were pregnant. One that is big enough for baby and very reasonably priced. He's provided for us in more ways than I can count. We've been able to rejoice that I'm 22 weeks, she's healthy, kickin' like crazy-love the reminder of how blessed I am to be a mom when I feel her kick every few minutes throughout the day. Billy's cousin let me borrow her maternity clothes which was so sweet of her! I'm tellin' ya, there's enough shirts that I may not be able to wear them all before Tatum comes. Maternity clothes have been a stressor for me because I didn't want to spend tons of money on clothes I wouldn't wear for very long, but I grew so fast that I can't wear a lot of my clothes. I've only had to buy 3 pair of maternity pants. Right now, I think that has been the biggest blessing for me because we were able to save so much money. My niece will be 8 months older than Tatum so we get to borrow all of her cute clothes she's to big for. My aunt also sent Brooke a TON of her daughter's clothes so Tatum is pretty much set for the next 2 years. We've been given a lot of diapers that Stella has outgrown. And my mom has been sewing away for her. All that to say, I don't need to buy clothes for her because she is SET! My dad built her changing table & crib, my mom & I are making her bedding, my mother-in-law gave us the rocking chair she used with Billy and Lindsay, and they gave us one of their dressers.

I'm in awe of Christ's goodness & the sweetness of our friends and family! God has been teaching me to be still and simply trust in Him.
So sorry this is the longest blog post on the planet

Boy or Girl?

Billy and I are having a GIRL! A friend of mine, Elizabeth came up with a fun way to announce the good news to her family so I had to copy. We had a gender reveal party and used her scavenger hunt clue cards. The only problem was my family thought it was a boy so everyone wanted to be on the boy team. Luckily, a few of them didn't mind going against their predicitions to create a girl team. Billy's family lives in Conway so they weren't able to participate but I think they were fine finding out over the phone. Plus, they were the first to know the good news. Everyone was pretty shocked to find out we weren't having a boy. Billy and I both wanted a boy first but we had a feeling it was a girl so we weren't very shocked to find out we were right! We're beyond thrilled to welcome a little gal into our family. I've already bought her a few outfits-I just can't help myself! Girl clothes are the cutest things EVER! As of right now, our community group has 4 pregnant ladies...and counting :) Amy & Elizabeth are having boys in December, I'm having a girl in Feb, and we're anxious to find out in a few weeks what Kara will be having in March...I'm hoping for a girl, Kara! :)

We have decided on the name Tatum. We really did luck out with a girl because Tatum was the only name we were 100% on. I've been waiting to take a bump picture around 20 weeks because honestly the weekly progress has been so tiny. I think the last pic was at 13 weeks? Anyway, Tatum has decided to show off the last 2 weeks so I'll be taking a 17 week picture Monday.

New Designs

Jolie Enfant has new designs! Check us out on Facebook!!!

Perfect for football season!

2nd Trimester

I am offically in my second trimester as of today, yay! I've been feeling great since about 10 weeks so I can't complain about the end of my first trimester. I must say the Lord definitely blessed me with a great first trimester. Now, all I ask is to bring on a bigger baby bump! :)

Here is the fabric I picked out for the bedding. Billy & I are using this bedding with all our children so I went neutral. I was definitely blessed with a mom who is very good at sewing so she's going to make the bedding & teach me how to sew along the way. Thanks mom!

It's about time

It's about time I update my blog. Sorry to all you readers, I don't have internet at our new place and don't have a lot of opportunities to update. A little update on the fam: I'm now 10 weeks, 3 days pregnant...ready for second trimester. I can't complain though, my pregnancy has been way better than I ever expected. I only get nauseous if I go more than 3 hours without food, huge blessing! My biggest fear about pregnancy has always been morning sickness. My only problem with the first trimester are the hormones. I've been in a major fog and pretty much checked out for about 4 weeks now. BUT thankfully I'm starting to feel like myself again so I'd say that part of pregnancy is passing.

Billy and I went to Destin with his family the beginning of July.

My niece, Stella was born on our way to Destin!

We went to the PBR (becoming our new family tradition) a few weekends ago with Billy's aunt & uncle

I celebrated my 22nd birthday last Friday

Baby McEntire received his/her first baby gift, thanks Aunt Cindy!

I picked out the baby bedding! So happy I finally accomplished something baby related :) It was a lot harder than I thought to pick out gender neutral colors but our plan is to use the bedding with all our kids

Picked out the crib and changing table my dad is going to build for us

We are headed to Conway this weekend for our nephews arrival. Lindsay, billy's sister, is being induced early Saturday morning

I'll leave you with belly pictures

Two Become Three

Well, its official...I'm pregnant! I found out two weeks ago and boy was I SHOCKED! As most of you know, Billy and I were moving to Dallas so he could attend seminary. Those plans are currently on hold since we have a mini mac coming February 21. I found out on a Wednesday(6/10) and we had our "going away party" on Friday. Only a few close friends knew of our situation. Let me take this time to apologize to everyone who came to say goodbye. I'm so sorry for lying to your face about Dallas and acting super awkward the entire night!
We told my family after the party and they were probably as shocked as I was when I saw 2 lines on my pregnancy test. We were supposed to go to Dallas to look for an apartment that Saturday but instead went to Conway to break the news to his family. They were also very shocked. It has been such a blessing for the support we have from our family and friends!

I'm 6 weeks today. The past two weeks have been crazy. Our apt lease is up so we found a place big enough for 3 people last week. We had already put in our 2 weeks notice at work because we were planning on moving to Dallas after our vacation which is Wednesday. Loving Choices had already hired someone for my position so I'm currently looking for a new job. Billy's work is letting him stay there so that's a huge blessing.

Wednesday (6/10)-First positive test at work
