1st Thanksgiving

Tatum had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We left Thursday morning for Conway to spend Thanksgiving with billys family. I think there were 36 of us for dinner. There were 6 "bigger" kiddos and 5 kiddos under 5. Can someone say crazy house? It's definitely crazy at times but we always have so much fun and it's so nice to see everyone since we usually only see them at the holidays.
The only pic I got on thanksgiving. We all wore razorback gear for the big game

The beginning of Thanksgiving week wasn't so good for this momma. We flew in from Houston to Little Rock last Sunday, stayed in Conway for the day and got home late that night. Monday we went to my parents for dinner and I started to feel bad when we got home (not unusual with this pregnancy). I got up Tuesday to make billys lunch and still wasn't feeling well. Tatum and I were ab to head to my parents for the day, I took my prenatal vitamin, gagged & almost lost all control. Thankfully I didn't toss my cookies then but did about 3 minutes later :). I was hoping it was bc I gagged taking my pill. Went to my parents and felt AWFUL. I couldn't even pick up tatum without wanting to throw up. My mom ended up taking care of her the next 2 days while I stayed there. I only got sick 3 times but it was top 5 worst sick days.
I felt better Thursday but felt pretty bad Friday night. We left Conway Saturday morning and that night I completely lost my voice and still haven't gotten it back. I'm guessing I have a pretty bad cold right now so I'm praying Tatum doesn't get it. I never got sick when I was pregnant with tatum. It is so not fun. This little baby must be pretty tough because he/she has been through 7 weeks of nausea, a stomach bug and now a cold. I had my first doc appt last week and baby's heartbeat was 160 and sounded great. Praise Jesus!

.flew for the first time to Houston and did great!
.attended your first wedding and I must say your were a big hit

11 weeks

Very tired at 11 weeks

Im still battling nausea but it's not near as bad as it was. I'll have a few good days and then have a bad morning or evening but that's about it.no all day nausea so that's a huge blessing.I'm pretty tired at night and my stomach gets sore from carrying Tates.I've had a few Mac & cheese cravings.my stomach is huge at night! Like 20+ weeks, no lie.
We're flying to houston tomorrow for my brothers wedding.we will be getting up at 4:30, yikes! We'll see how tatum & momma's nausea handle 4:30.I'm a little nervous to see how tatum handles flying.the problem is we're flying during her nap, which would be great for most parents but tatum will not sleep in our arms.praying for safe, smooth flights!

Nursing

When I was preggo with tatum I only had one fear.nursing.I wasn't afraid of natural childbirth.I wasn't afraid of taking care of a baby(I had no clue what to do).i wasnt afraid of anything but nursing.i had so many dreams where I forgot to feed Tatum or wouldn't feed her for 7 hours at a time.i remember one dream where I actually DROPPED my newborn while trying to nurse.I would joke with my friends for them to keep an eye on tatum's weight gain to make sure I was actually feeding her ha!I took a class and read the materials over and over again but nothing made sense.
Thankfully My nursing dreams never came true.it was a little rocky the first 2 weeks(stupid nipple shield) but then it was great.
So you'd think I wouldn't be worried the 2nd time around but guess what? I just lost all confidence in my intuition. My crazy preggo mind started turning. Are you kidding me? I'm only 11 weeks! I randomly thought we'd keep the baby with us in the hospital instead of the nursery like we did with Tates. Well as soon as that thought came to mind, I thought oh no how will I know when the baby gets hungry?! Should I feed the baby every 3 hrs? What if he/she wants to eat every hr?what if he/she is a bad nurser? And the list goes on and on :) ridiculous? Yes. Fear is so dumb. I did fine with tatum and I will do fine with this one. Buuuttttt I think my prayers for a natural nurser will start now :)

Just because she's cute

9 weeks

I'm 9 weeks and so far this pregnancy has been different than my first. I'm mainly writing this so I will remember my symptoms.
I had my first hit of nausea at 5.5 weeks with Tatum. I only had a few bad days when I wanted to throw up. As long as I ate every 3 hrs(which was hard to make myself do) I was fine. I think I was over nausea at 8 wks but I was in a major fog till 10. I was very tired at 6 & 7 wks.

This time nausea hit at 6 wks and it's been around the clock, 24/7, all day & night, to the point where I would feel better if I would actually throw up. I'll have a few good days here and there but then it seems like I make up for them soon after. It's much easier for me to eat this time around. the only food I can't think about is chili.ugh makes me want to gag. I can't stomach water at all. I force myself to drink 2 glasses a day, terrible i know! So I've been living off Gatorade. Preggy Pops soothe my stomach a lot longer with this baby so that's been really helpful. I haven't been as tired as I thought I would be but that's probably because Tatum keeps me busy. I had round ligament pain at 5 weeks
